Hidden Mode with Decoy PIN:
- Set up a special Decoy PIN (another 4-digit code).
- When you enter the Decoy PIN, xPal Messenger opens in a hidden mode, shielding all your conversations and contacts.
What Happens in Hidden Mode:
Your real data stays concealed behind your regular PIN.
Switching Back to Regular Mode:
Just enter your regular PIN to return to your normal app view.
Offline-LockTM: Privacy Protection While Offline
Offline-Lock is a powerful encrypted messaging feature that prevents your chats from being accessed offline. This means: No offline viewing – Your conversations remain invisible unless the user is online.
No screenshots or recordings without you being notified – Protects against anyone attempting to capture your chat without your knowledge.
Enhanced security when Erase, Terminate™, or Wipeout are activated in the messaging app – Because chats are not decrypted offline, they remain unseen. When the user reconnects to the internet, the chat will be automatically erased before it can be viewed. Stay in control of your privacy, always.
What is Remote WipeoutTM?
In the case your device is lost or stolen, Remote Wipeout instant messaging app enables you to wipeout the entire xPal data in the lost device.
Remote Wipeout*™ , once activated in the Settings, it will force the encrypted chat app to check for a network connection before starting. If there is no network connection present it will not open the app.
The biggest advantage: if your device is lost or stolen, you can log in to another device with your XID and activate, then choose to wipeout the previous device data. Once the lost device is connected to the internet, it will instantly clear the chat history from your device.
Self-Destruct
When enabled, this feature will automatically delete all conversations and history on this device after 7, 14, or 30 days if the app remains inactive.
